- Born on the shores of Georgian Bay in Collingwood, Ontario, Sheri was largely influenced by her father, a musician who loved everthing from classical to jazz. It was during time spent singing every night with him that Sheri learned the wonderful ballads of yester-year that you will hear on her self-titled debut CD. At the age of seven, Sheri began studying classical piano and flute. But singing was always her fist love and afforded her opportunities in Theatre and Opera companies. As of late, Sheri is playing with her Jazz Trio, soothing audiences with some of her favourites made popular by the likes of Nat King Cole, Ella Fitzgerald,Carmen McCrae and many other incredible artists from a timeless era.
